Kuta is the worst place in Bali, its so horrible, expensive and the beach is very durty. There is so many other nice places to surf in Bali.\nRegarding ubud, it is getting like Kuta, trafficjams, horrible resorts getting built. What you show is outside Ubud, and not Ubud itself….\n\nIf you go to Bali, just avoid all those touristic aeras; Kuta, nusa dua, Ubud, seminyak, sanur, its shit, they destroyed everything, it is mass tourism. \n\nJust rent a car and do a trip around the Island. You wil see the real bali and not something fake.\n\n

    • Thanks for the tips Pet! I do agree that Kuta is a tourist milk cow, I’ve stayed there for few days and pretty much to surf on the beginner waves. I had limited amount of time so I couldn’t get picky too much. I do notice tons of random tourist crap though, but I didn’t let it bother me too much. Eventhough Ubud is starting to get popular like Kuta, at the time when I visited it wasn’t THAT bad yet, but it’s getting there hahah, but it is a nice change from the commercialized Kuta area. Next time I go to Bali, I plan to visit the North more as I’ve heard it’s less crowded there and try to rent a car. Then again, I did hear that there are “limited” roads and there are traffic jams everywhere.
