Bright lights and neons in Hong Kong, cliff jumping and visit to cat cafe

Hong Kong is my last stop on my 1 year travel around the world. It’s not a stop that I intended to visit because my parents are from Hong Kong and I’ve been here several times before. It was a required stop on my way back to Belgium. In the previous visits I haven’t ever really traveled around in Hong Kong. Wuxi

Shanghai revisited

In 2008 during the summer Olympics, I spent 2 and a half months in Shanghai doing an internship. During that time I’ve pretty much seen most of what Shanghai had to offer. Cat cafe & trick art museum in Seoul – Must do!

Trick art museum For some reason, trick art museums haven’t really taken off in other countries, but in South-Korea, they seem to be pretty big. Finally made it to Seoul, my last stop in South Korea before moving on to China. Gyeongju & Andong

Gyeong Ju This little historical town is most famous for its royal tombs called tumuli. what’s so special about these tombs is that they are made up of big piles of sand and depending on the importance of the person who is buried, the bigger tomb of course. Personally I wasn’t really impressed by these tombs so I didn’t really spend that much time in Gyeongju. Busan & Jeju island

Busan was the first stop in South-Korea after Japan. To be totally honest, I was pretty beat from traveling around so much in Japan. I’ve seen a lot of mountains, done some really nice hikes and visited a good amount of temples. Hiroshima & Miyajima

I don’t exactly know why I visited Hiroshima. I mean don’t know anything about the war between the USA and Japan nor do I know the exact reason why Hiroshima was bombed to hell.
