Out of all the South American countries, Peru is the first one I’ve done research on. Not because it’s my favorite or anything, but because I arranged my Salkantay trek in Cuzco way ahead of time and from there on I just kept going. Brazil – Rio de Janeiro / São Paulo

My first stop of this year-long trip will be sunny Brazil. In order to get most of my time there, I’ve looked up some information in advance to avoid missing out on the good stuff what Brazil has to offer. First: they speak Portugese in Brazil.
